Dr. Stephanie Florez-Pollack is an Ivy-league trained, board-certified dermatologist practicing in Richmond, Texas. She was born in Bogotá, Colombia and raised in Katy, Texas where she graduated from Katy High School. Dr. Florez-Pollack completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University, where she was the recipient of the Brown Foundation-Earl Rudder Memorial Outstanding Student Award, the highest honor reserved for the top two graduating seniors at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Florez-Pollack holds a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the prestigious UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing an internal medicine internship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, she moved to Philadelphia to pursue a residency in Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the top-ranked dermatology residency program in the country. She received rigorous training in adult and pediatric dermatology at some of the nation’s best hospitals with world-renowned experts, and she is thrilled to bring her skills back to the community where she grew up.
Dr. Florez-Pollack is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about community engagement, mentorship and volunteerism. She has authored numerous publications, with particular focus on lupus, morphea, vitiligo, melasma and skin of color. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, relaxing with her family, and spending time outdoors.
