Paige Yelich, MPAS, PA-C, grew up in Katy, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin in 2016 and obtained her Master of Physician Assistant studies at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in August of 2019. 

Paige is passionate about educating her patients and managing their various dermatologic concerns. Paige is highly trained and equipped to manage acute and chronic dermatological skin conditions. 

Paige is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants licensed by the Texas Medical Board. She is an active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, where she completed a diplomate fellowship. She is also an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Texas Association of Physician Assistants. Paige stays up to date with current dermatologic therapeutics by frequently attending conferences and reading dermatology journals.

Outside of the office, Paige enjoys traveling, attending concerts and spending time at the lake with her husband and dog, Shipley! She is a proud Longhorn and loves attending UT football games in Austin! Paige is excited to be a part of the Complete Dermatology family and serve the Greater Houston community!

Rebecca Perez is a licensed medical aesthetician that has devoted her career to the medical field with over 35 years of experience in aesthetics. Additionally, she is a licensed laser technician and prides herself on keeping current with the latest technology, procedures, and products in the ever-changing aesthetics field. She attends numerous continuing education courses every year, and her additional training and certifications include these procedures: chemical peels, microneedling with PRP, microdermabrasion, hydrafacial, numerous laser devices and other rejuvenation procedures. 

Rebecca is a member of the American Aesthetics Education Association and Dermatology Nurses Association. Being at the forefront of the aesthetic industry, she will use only high-quality, medical-grade skincare products and the latest technology to help you achieve your skin goals. She believes that healthy skin is beautiful skin and that maintaining its health and quality is a necessity for every age and gender.

Dr. Andrew Armenta is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. He graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. Following college, he completed medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. After graduating from medical school, he stayed there to complete his internship in internal medicine, residency in dermatology, and fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery. During his medical training, he authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers, posters, and podium presentations and presented them at national meetings.
 
 
 
Dr. Armenta is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Armenta specializes in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, Mohs micrographic surgery, and advanced facial reconstruction. He believes in a patient-centric approach, where the well-being and comfort of his patients take top priority. His bedside manner, compassion, and attention to detail ensure that his patients receive the highest level of care. He understands that undergoing surgical procedures can be a daunting experience, and his goal is to provide a reassuring and empathetic environment for his patients. Dr. Elise Weisert was born in Walnut Creek, California and raised in Southlake, Texas. She graduated magna cum laude from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina, where she was a four year letter winner on the Division I swimming and diving team. She returned to Texas to attend medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where she earned the Edgar B. Smith Dermatology Award at graduation. During this time, she also completed a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Texas Health Science Center.

 

Dr. Weisert completed her internship at HCA Houston Healthcare/University of Houston in Kingwood, followed by her dermatology residency at UTMB. There, she served as Chief Resident and received comprehensive training in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She was honored with the William Thayer Award for excellence in teaching and was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. As a resident, she was selected as the first U.S. dermatologist to participate in the ISDIN/Africa Director Grant program, traveling to Mozambique to provide skin cancer screening and care for individuals with albinism. Dr. Weisert has authored many peer-reviewed publications and has presented her research at state and national dermatology conferences.

 

She has expertise in treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions from acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin cancer to more complex dermatologic conditions. Dr. Weisert is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, Women’s Dermatologic Society, and Texas Dermatological Society.

 

Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, traveling, and exploring Houston’s vibrant culinary scene.

Dr. Jessica Sung Ku is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive skin care for patients of all ages. A native Texan, she grew up in Arlington and graduated cum laude from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Business Administration, where she was also a member of the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi.

She earned her medical degree and completed her internship at Baylor College of Medicine, followed by dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Houston / MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Sung Ku also completed a prestigious research fellowship under renowned cutaneous T-cell lymphoma expert Dr. Madeleine Duvic, where she focused on advancing care for patients with CTCL.

Dr. Sung Ku’s clinical interests include acne, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and skin cancer prevention and detection. She is committed to working closely with her patients to help them feel confident in their skin.

Dr. Sung Ku lives in Houston with her husband, Ruey, and their dog, Roscoe, and they are excited to welcome a baby boy in November 2025. In her free time, she enjoys trying new restaurants, traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.

Dr. Yu Wang, MD, was born in China and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He began his academic journey at Hunter College, where he earned a degree in History and English Literature. Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Wang worked in the New York fashion industry, gaining valuable insights into aesthetics and design. His passion for helping others led him to return to school, where he earned his medical degree from Stony Brook University.

 

Dr. Wang completed his internship at Mather Hospital and a research fellowship at Cornell University, where he focused on nail pathology. He then went on to complete his dermatology residency at Wake Forest University, where he developed a special interest in hair loss treatment. Throughout his career, Dr. Wang has published over 30 articles in leading dermatology journals, contributing to the field’s ongoing advancements. His clinical interests include atopic dermatitis (eczema), psoriasis, hair loss, cosmetic dermatology, auto-inflammatory skin conditions, skin cancer, and many more.

 

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Wang is particularly passionate about working with the Asian communities around Houston and addressing their unique dermatological needs. His diverse background and cultural sensitivity allow him to connect with patients from all walks of life.

 

Outside of his clinical work, Dr. Wang enjoys weightlifting, traveling the world, and spending time with his dog. His multifaceted life and dedication to dermatology make him a compassionate and driven healthcare provider.

Dr. Stephanie Florez-Pollack is an Ivy-league trained, board-certified dermatologist practicing in Richmond, Texas. She was born in Bogotá, Colombia and raised in Katy, Texas where she graduated from Katy High School. Dr. Florez-Pollack completed her undergraduate education at Texas A&M University, where she was the recipient of the Brown Foundation-Earl Rudder Memorial Outstanding Student Award, the highest honor reserved for the top two graduating seniors at Texas A&M University.

Dr. Florez-Pollack holds a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the prestigious UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. After completing an internal medicine internship at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, she moved to Philadelphia to pursue a residency in Dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the top-ranked dermatology residency program in the country. She received rigorous training in adult and pediatric dermatology at some of the nation’s best hospitals with world-renowned experts, and she is thrilled to bring her skills back to the community where she grew up.

Dr. Florez-Pollack is fluent in both English and Spanish and is passionate about community engagement, mentorship and volunteerism. She has authored numerous publications, with particular focus on lupus, morphea, vitiligo, melasma and skin of color. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, relaxing with her family, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Katherine Martin is a native Texan who grew up in Austin. Dr. Vandana Madkan is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She not only enjoys practicing the full breadth of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, but also feels passionately about educating physicians and patients alike on the important aspects of medical to cosmetic skin health. She lectures nationally on the identification and treatment of skin disease and works actively with patient groups such as the National Psoriasis Foundation and National Alopecia Areata Foundation to promote new therapies for patients. Dr Madkan has also traveled to Cuba to study different health care systems and observe the implementation of psoralens and other plants in medicinal therapies.​

Dr. Madkan trained at the prestigious MD Anderson Cancer Center and the University of Texas Health Sciences Center where she served as chief resident in her final year. She then joined a locally well respected and academically inclined private practice in Houston where she was sub-investigator for the clinical trials that brought Humira to market for psoriasis in 2008 and was also principal investigator for the clinical trials that brought Otezla to market for psoriasis in 2015. She left Texas and returned to California, where she lived as a young child, to oversee the psoriasis clinic at UCLA where she was honored by the residency program as Outstanding Teacher of the Year. She left UCLA as Assistant Professor of Dermatology in 2013 to begin her own practice with locations in Santa Monica and Beverly Hills to increasingly focus on patient care and expand on her previous clinical trial experience by opening a clinical trials center attached to an international consortium of trial physicians called Probity Medical Group. In 2021 she moved back to Houston, Texas to continue her work in private practice and to be closer to family.

Dr Madkan has an extensive list of published studies and articles in esteemed journals such as The Archives of Dermatology and The Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as chapters in Dermatology textbooks on the subjects of psoriasis, herpes, skin cancer, and cosmetic enhancements. She continues to expand her knowledge of treatments to provides her patients the latest and greatest in medical care.​

Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Dr. Madkan received her undergraduate education at Emory University after which she completed her medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia.  The remainder of her medical training took her through an internship in internal medicine at the University of Maryland and Baltimore VA Medical Centers, a clinical research fellowship in virology, psoriasis and sexually transmitted diseases at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston, and a residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center.​

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and visiting with her close-knit family. She is great fan of historical nonfiction and as a literature major in undergrad, loves any books about people in medicine.

Kemunto Mokaya, M.D. (also known as Dr. Kemmy) is a board-certified, Ivy League-educated dermatologist. She specializes in medical, surgical, ethnic, and cosmetic dermatology and has over a decade of dermatologic experience.  

Dr. Mokaya earned her bachelor of science in Biology and her bachelor of arts in African studies at Yale University. She holds a master’s degree in Health Sciences from Yale. She attained her doctorate of medicine from Yale University School of Medicine in 2010. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Her Dermatology residency was at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). 

Patients love Dr. Kemmy because of the exemplary care she provides. She is thorough and detail-oriented. She has an infectious smile, outstanding bedside demeanor, and caring personality. Dr. Mokaya has high patient satisfaction scores, winning awards such as the Vitals “Top Doctors” recognition.

Dr. Kemmy is a best-selling author who wrote the book: “LIVE AND LOOK YOUNGER: A Dermatologist’s Guide to Youthful Skin and Ageless Beauty.” She is also a speaker and podcaster, and has been featured in magazines and popular media. Dr. Mokaya has also written articles for scientific publications and medical books. She is a medical expert volunteer for the Albinism Society of Kenya.

Rod Mahmoudizad, MD is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. His areas of interest include Mohs micrographic surgery, reconstruction, and cutaneous oncology.

Dr. Mahmoudizad has been serving the Houston community since completing his Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He grew up just outside of Dallas, TX and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Mahmoudizad earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his internship at Harbor UCLA Medical Center.

He performed his dermatology residency at Texas A&M – Baylor, Scott & White Health in Temple, TX, where he served as chief resident and was awarded the Academic Achievement in Dermatological Surgery Award. Dr. Mahmoudizad enjoys volunteering in different capacities as a dermatologist and has been involved in multiple scientific publications as well as presentations at state and national meetings. Outside of medicine, Dr. Mahmoudizad is an avid sports and history fan.

Dr. Bobbak (Bobby) Mansouri is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the hair, skin, and nails. He has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis and skin cancer and has served as an expert consultant nationally and internationally in the field of psoriasis.

Dr. Bobby Mansouri graduated with the distinction of Highest Ranking Graduate from Texas Tech University after serving four years as a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Undergraduate Research Scholar and being awarded the nationally recognized Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship for undergraduates pursuing careers in medicine and research. Dr. Mansouri obtained his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine, during which time he completed a Clinical Research Training Program fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He then completed a transitional year internship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s Mercy Hospital. Dr. Mansouri spent two and half years completing research fellowship training in clinical trials under the direction of the internationally renowned psoriasis expert, Dr. Alan Menter, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Dr. Mansouri most recently completed his dermatology residency training at Texas A&M College of Medicine – Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX, where he served as the Chief Resident in his final year.

He has published over 20 research articles, has presented his work at national and international conferences, and is a reviewer for multiple high impact dermatology research journals. Dr. Mansouri was raised in Lubbock, TX, and he is no stranger to the effects of the Texas sun on patients’ skin, especially in the summertime.

Shana “Shane” Hunter Thurlow was born in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. She received her Registered Nurse degree in 1990 and moved to The Woodlands, Texas in 1992. Her passion for aesthetic medicine was sparked by an observant colleague who suggested that her injection skills and artful eye would be a perfect fit for cosmetic services. In 2002 she began practicing aesthetic medicine and discovered personal joy in helping patients feel better about themselves.

Shane has helped several large companies develop cosmetic and aesthetic practices. She was the Aesthetic R.N. For The Woodlands Dermatology Associates for over 13 years. Shane’s skills were identified by Allergan (the makers of BOTOX Cosmetic and JUVEDERM brand of fillers) in 2010. She was asked by the company to serve as a faculty member of the Allergan Medical Institute, training other doctors and nurses to inject of Allergan’s behalf. Shane was recognized in 2018 as the Allergan Medical Ambassador for Houston and the surrounding areas. She is one of the Top 500 injectors in the United States.

Shane is a proud mother of two daughters. Keaton graduated from The University of Oklahoma and is a social worker in Oklahoma City. Haiden is attending The University of Arkansas and has recently been accepted into nursing school.  In Shane’s free time she enjoys exercise, travel, friends, and music.

Dr. Julie Brantley was born in Bethesda, Maryland but considers herself a native Texan as she has been living in Texas since her childhood.  Dr. Brantley received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Trinity University in San Antonio, graduating Cum Laude in 2000.  After college, Dr. Brantley both attended medical school and completed her dermatology residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she was awarded the Faculty Award for Excellent Dermatology Research her chief year in 2009.  Prior to residency, she completed a surgery internship at St. Joseph Hospital in downtown Houston.  After graduating from residency, Dr. Brantley worked at The Sadler Clinic, in The Woodlands, Texas, from 2009-2010 and has been practicing dermatology for the past 8 years with Rabin-Greenberg Dermatology in Kingwood and Sugar Land.  Dr. Brantley’s interests include medical dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Brantley lives in the Woodlands with her husband and son, both named Travis.  When not taking care of patients she enjoys traveling, Pilates, and spending her free time running between all of her son’s sports activities.

Dr. Kristin Wolf was born in Dallas, TX but spent several years in the Northeast growing up. She returned to Texas for her undergraduate studies at Baylor University, where she was in the prestigious Business Fellows program and also obtained minors in chemistry and Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2011. She attended medical school at The University of Texas- Houston, where her interest in dermatology began through clinical rotations and research experience. Dr. Wolf completed her medical internship at the University of Texas-Houston followed by dermatology residency at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she served as Chief Resident her senior year. While completing her medical degree and residency training, Dr. Wolf published several dermatological articles and presented at local and state meetings. She is an active member of Houston Dermatological Society, Texas Dermatological Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and the American Academy of Dermatology. Her areas of expertise include general and surgical dermatology.

Dr. Wolf lives with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Amy Bumgardner grew up near Orange, Texas and graduated at the top of her class from Little Cypress- Mauriceville High School in 1995. She attended Texas A&M University from 1995-1999 graduating Magna Cum Laude and receiving her degree in Biomedical Science. Dr Bumgardner attended medical school at the University of Texas-Houston from 1999-2003 and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, graduating in the top of her class. She was awarded Internal Medicine Student of the Year during her fourth year of medical school. She did her medical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in downtown Houston prior to completing her residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas-Houston/MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2007. After finishing residency, she worked at the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Spring from 2007-2008 followed by 9 years with The Woodlands Dermatology Associates in The Woodlands, Texas prior to joining Complete Dermatology in 2017.

Dr. Bumgardner lives in The Woodlands with her family and is a proud mom to 3 children: Brooklyn, Berkley, and Boston. Out of the office, she enjoys watching her children in their various sport activities, as well as attending Aggie sporting events, traveling, and exercising.

Dr. Kristyn Payne grew up in The Woodlands, TX and feels fortunate to practice medicine in her hometown. She graduated college Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998 with a degree in Biology and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa honors society. She attended medical school at The University of Texas-Houston from 1998-2002, and was able to participate in clinical research in pediatric dermatology. Dr. Payne did her medical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in downtown Houston prior to completing her residency at The University of Texas-Houston/MD Anderson in 2006. Dr. Payne has enjoyed practicing dermatology in The Woodlands area since 2006. She loves treating all age groups and specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Payne lives in The Woodlands with her husband, Chris, and son, Logan. Outside of dermatology, she enjoys exercising, traveling, watching UT football, cooking, and being outdoors with her family and dogs, Birdie & Bandit.
