Kemunto Mokaya, M.D
Kemunto Mokaya, M.D. (also known as Dr. Kemmy) is a board-certified, Ivy League-educated dermatologist. She specializes in medical, surgical, ethnic, and cosmetic dermatology and has over a decade of dermatologic experience.
Dr. Mokaya earned her bachelor of science in Biology and her bachelor of arts in African studies at Yale University. She holds a master’s degree in Health Sciences from Yale. She attained her doctorate of medicine from Yale University School of Medicine in 2010. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital. Her Dermatology residency was at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Her mission is to empower people to optimize their skin health and overall wellness so that they can look fabulous, feel better, and thrive.
She is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS) where she serves on several leadership committees. Dr. Mokaya has also written articles for scientific publications and medical books. She is a medical expert volunteer for the Albinism Society of Kenya.
