Jennifer Hau, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and is fellowship-trained in Mohs surgery and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer, Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, and non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Hau was born and raised in Houston and graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University. She earned her medical degree from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston and dermatology residency at the University of California Los Angeles, where she served as chief resident. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, Dermatologic Oncology and Procedural Dermatology at the University of California San Diego.
Dr. Hau has presented at local and national conferences and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Her professional memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Hau is an avid Houston sports fan and enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Gus.
